Multinationals

Ports, shipping lines and rail operators; pharmaceutical and health supply companies; and a global reinsurer.

31

Agencies

All 13 Canadian provinces and territories, federal departments and Crown corporations, two major cities, government bodies in the UK, US and Australia, and catastrophe insurance pools in six countries.

13+

Jurisdictions

Every Canadian province and territory, plus state and regional governments abroad.

Shaded bands are nominal 15 degree time zones, labelled by UTC offset; local time zones follow national borders. Hover a point for details.

Value proposition

I've worked and advised across many sectors, from inside government to professional services, insurance, policing, infrastructure, housing, tax, and defence and aerospace. I've advised and delivered under many contracts, so I know where plans break and how to make them hold. Now I build resilient AI adoption frameworks that deliver ROI.

What's different

Why my path is different

3

Operating cultures

Management consulting in Canada, provincial leadership in BC, a global consulting PMO in Mumbai, a digital tax implementation in Nairobi, and multiple federal and provincial transformations in Canada. I've had to make change land and stick in very different institutions and contexts.

2

National crises

In the driving seat, advising and leading through major crises: a vaccine supply chain strategy during a national pandemic, and embedded in an operations centre during one of the largest provincial floods. Both needed decisions in days, not weeks or months, with incomplete information, firm guardrails and many jurisdictions at the table.

8

Industries

Government, aerospace and defence, policing, infrastructure, housing, insurance, professional services and tax. Range like this makes patterns visible that specialists miss.

$9M

Saved, plus $1M+ a year in online ticket revenue

Wrote road safety policy that Cabinet approved, built data sharing agreements that retained the transactional data, and identified the KPIs that proved value and transformed decision making. I can work at either end of the chain to drive value.

12

Months from analyst to director

In the BC Public Service I was promoted from financial analyst to director of finance within a year, a sign of the confidence leaders placed in my ability to deliver results.

4M+

Citizens on a system I helped build

A national digital tax system in Kenya, built from complex legislation into clear processes, now used by over 4 million citizens.

Inside government

The buyer and regulator

As director of finance, I wrote the policy and the business case, ran the procurement framework, and negotiated the partner and data sharing agreements that others had to live with.

Advising government and industry

The designer of the rules

As a consultant, I've designed how organizations buy, operate and adopt AI: a multi-billion dollar spend review, a $200M emergency framework, a new reinsurer's operating model and an enterprise AI portfolio.

Delivering under contract

The provider held to them

Today I'm responsible for a $100M+ defence contract portfolio, held to the same security and compliance rules I once helped design, and I'm putting AI to work inside them.

Buyer, designer, provider. Few people have sat in all three seats, and it's why I know where plans break and how to make them hold.

What I do

Four things I'm brought in for

Strategy development

Operating models, business cases and roadmaps that win decisions and funding.

$30M+ business case funded · reinsurance operating model · defence AI roadmap

Operations optimization

Process, supply chain and procurement redesign that shows up in the numbers.

Multi-billion dollar spend review · national fleet review · 10 to 25 hours returned monthly

Defence ops modernization and AI adoption

Readiness data, data products and AI agents for defence, with people kept in the loop.

First enterprise readiness data platform · 10+ data products · AI agents

Unstructured problem solving

Crises and messy problems where there's no playbook and many parties at the table.

$200M emergency procurement · national vaccine supply chain
